Remembrance Day

I've always been a bit dubious about remembrance day because I've never been comfortable with supporting the idea that people are defending a line drawn on a map by, in some part, killing people that are defending a different line drawn on a map. But being born again has changed my perspective slightly because I see what they are defending is more than a line on a map. They are defending a political idea that allows us to live in a democratic society which defends the idea of religious freedom. Without that we wouldn't be able to spread the Gospel and bring souls to the Salvation offered by the Lord. Effectively then these soldiers are not just defending our lives but helping us defend our Souls which is something I should support wholeheartedly. God bless our military who risk their lives everyday so that we can be free.
